Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 13, 2026

This page is maintained by the MyTaxID team to explain what information we collect from you, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to anyone who uses this website to request a Tax Identification (TIN) verification slip.

1. Information we collect

When you place an order, you provide us with:

  • Your email address (used only as a support/receipt reference — we do not deliver slips by email)
  • Your Tax Identification Number (TIN)
  • Depending on the certificate type: your name and date of birth (Individual) or your registered business/company/NGO name, RC/BN number and address (Corporate)

We also receive limited transaction metadata from our payment processor (Paystack) such as a payment reference, amount, and status. We do not receive or store your full card number, PIN, CVV, or bank credentials.

2. How we use your information

  • To verify your TIN and generate your PDF verification slip
  • To render the slip on the success screen for immediate in-app download
  • To allow you to retrieve the same slip from the homepage, by TIN, within 7 days
  • To keep a short-lived record of your order for support and receipts
  • To detect fraud, abuse, and misuse of the service

3. Delivery model — no email delivery

Slips are delivered only through an immediate in-app download on the payment success screen. We do not attach or send the slip to your email at any time. If you close the page before saving, return to the homepage and enter your TIN in the retrieval box to re-download the slip within the 7-day window.

4. Sharing with third parties

We only share information with service providers that help us run MyTaxID:

  • Paystack — payment processing
  • Lovable Cloud — hosting and database

We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

5. Data retention — 7-day auto-deletion

Order records that back the slip retrieval feature are kept for exactly 7 days from the time of purchase, then permanently deleted. After that window the slip cannot be re-downloaded or recovered by anyone — including us. Please save your PDF locally on the success screen. You may request earlier deletion of your order at any time by contacting support.

6. Security

Traffic to this site is encrypted with HTTPS. Slip data is rendered client-side in your browser from your own order record and is not exposed to third parties. This is not a formal certification — we simply describe the controls that are in place.

6. Your choices

  • Request a copy of the data we hold about you
  • Ask us to correct or delete your order records
  • Unsubscribe from any non-essential email we send

7. Contact
