Terms & Conditions

Last updated: July 13, 2026

These Terms govern your use of MyTaxID (the "Service"). By placing an order you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms.

1. The service

MyTaxID generates a signed PDF verification slip for a Tax Identification Number (TIN) you supply. The slip summarises the details you enter and is intended as a convenience document for record-keeping and internal use. It does not replace or override any official communication from the Nigeria Revenue Service (NRS) or the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).

2. Your responsibilities

  • Provide accurate name, TIN, and (where applicable) RC/BN details.
  • Only order for a person or entity you are authorised to represent.
  • Download and save your slip immediately after payment.

We are not liable for slips generated from information you entered incorrectly.

3. Payment

The fee is ₦1,000 per certificate, payable in full at checkout via Paystack. All amounts are inclusive of applicable charges.

4. Delivery & retrieval

Certificates are generated automatically after a successful payment and rendered on the success screen for immediate in-app download. We do not deliver slips by email. If you close the page before saving, you can retrieve your slip from the homepage by entering the Tax Identification Number you paid for. Retrieval is available for a strict 7-day window from the time of purchase, after which the record is permanently deleted for your privacy and cannot be recovered.

5. Refunds

Because each certificate is generated on demand and delivered immediately, orders are generally non-refundable once the PDF has been issued. If you were charged but no slip was generated, contact support within the 7-day window and we will investigate and, where appropriate, re-issue or refund the payment.

6. Acceptable use

  • Do not use the Service for fraud, impersonation, or forgery.
  • Do not attempt to disrupt, scrape, or reverse-engineer the Service.
  • Do not resell or misrepresent certificates as official NRS output.

7. Intellectual property

The MyTaxID brand, website, and certificate templates are our property. You receive a personal, non-transferable right to download and use the certificate you paid for.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

9. Limitation of liability

Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the certificate at issue.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after we post a change means you accept the update.
